London tech companies order print for three occasions — a summit or conference, a partner or customer event, and the office — and the jobs below are real ones from our own records. 350 double-sided flyers for NVIDIA were signed for at a London hotel at 15:30 on the day they were wanted, ahead of a 17:00 deadline; six pull-up banners with Dell Technologies branding were ordered by an events agency at 18:08 on a Friday and confirmed in production at 19:09; and a stand for AWS was briefed after 7pm and delivered by 8am. We print US Letter as a finished size in its own right, because tech companies often work from US templates.
A tech team rarely orders print as a hobby: it is the flyer for a summit, the banners for a customer evening, the swag-store cards for a partner day or the walls of a new office, and each has a date set by somebody else’s calendar. The question that matters to a tech buyer is not which products a printer lists but whether the printer has done this kind of job under this kind of deadline. This page answers that with records rather than adjectives, and sends each job to the page that carries its detail. Our London print shop works through the night, and the ready time for a brief is confirmed at quotation.
What have London tech companies had printed here?
Summit flyers, event banners, a branded stand, partner-event cards and office walls — five jobs, each published as a case study with its timeline. Names appear where the case study names them; the table shows the starting point and the outcome as recorded, which are not always an order time and a delivery time.
| Job | Recorded starting point | Recorded outcome |
|---|---|---|
| 350 double-sided conference flyers for NVIDIA at the Dell Technologies CSG Tech Summit | Paid at 23:44; US Letter size; artwork as two Canva links | Printed the next day and signed for at the Hilton London Metropole at 15:30, ahead of a 17:00 deadline |
| Six pull-up banners with Dell Technologies branding, ordered by an events agency | Enquiry on Friday at 18:08; paid 18:54; three designs, two banners of each | Confirmed in production at 19:09, for a Sunday event in Kensington |
| Tablecloth, two roll-up banners and 400 stickers for an AWS booth in the City | Briefed after 7pm; the artwork did not match the brief, and we stopped to ask rather than guess | Delivered by 8am |
| Wall graphics and dimensional lettering for a tech company’s Canary Wharf office | Quoted in May; four walls, 31.5 square metres | Fitted in November, because an office fit-out runs on its own clock |
| Two A3 strut cards and cue cards for a partner event swag store | Quoted on a Thursday evening | Confirmed ready by midday on Friday; the cue card count rose from 20 to 30 mid-run |
What should a tech team know before ordering?
Say the size, say the deadline in the first message, and send artwork at the finished size — because the common delays on tech jobs are not the printing. Three things from the records above:
- US templates are fine. US Letter, 11 × 8.5 inches, is printed as a finished size in its own right and is a size we are asked for by companies whose templates come from the US; A4 is about 18 mm longer and 6 mm narrower, so say Letter in the brief and the size is confirmed in the quote.
- A link is not a file. Artwork for the NVIDIA flyers arrived as Canva share links from a team in another time zone; what goes to press is a print-ready file at the finished size, and which file format to send sets out what that means. A mock-up is not artwork either, as a roller banner rescued and delivered a day early shows.
- State the deadline the diary has, not the one the quote shows. The NVIDIA quote went out showing Wednesday while the need was Tuesday; the client repeated the Tuesday deadline at 23:30, accepted at 23:42 and paid at 23:44.
Where does each tech-company need go?
A summit goes to the events pages, a customer evening to the launch and agency pages, a stand to the exhibitor page, and the office to the corporate page. Printing for events and conferences maps badges, banners, backdrops and flyers for a summit; printing for exhibitors covers a stand at ExCeL or Olympia; printing for launch events and press calls covers a customer evening with a press wall; and printing for corporate offices covers reports, business cards, staff badges and wall graphics for an office. The product pages carry the detail: flyers, pull-up banners, printed tablecloths, stickers, strut cards and wall graphics.
Q&A
Does Silver Image London print for tech companies?
Yes. Published case studies include conference flyers for NVIDIA at the Dell Technologies CSG Tech Summit, pull-up banners with Dell Technologies branding ordered by an events agency, a tablecloth, roll-up banners and stickers for an AWS booth, wall graphics for a tech company’s Canary Wharf office and strut cards for a partner event swag store. Each records its stages and its outcome; the table above lists them.
Can you print US Letter instead of A4?
Yes. US Letter, 11 × 8.5 inches, is a finished size we print in its own right, for companies whose templates come from the US. Say Letter in the brief so the size is confirmed in the quote; A4 is a different size, about 18 mm longer and 6 mm narrower.
Can artwork be shared as a Canva link?
Links have been the way artwork arrived on tech jobs: the NVIDIA flyers came as two Canva share links. What goes to press is a print-ready file at the finished size, so a link is a way of sending the design rather than the file itself; which file format to send explains what to export.
Can print be delivered to a hotel for a tech summit or customer event?
Yes, by courier direct to the hotel. The NVIDIA flyers were signed for at the Hilton London Metropole at 15:30, and the Kensington banners were ordered for a Sunday delivery to a hotel in SW5. Give the address, the room or hall and the name that signs for the delivery when you order.
Can a stand for a tech event be printed overnight?
An AWS booth in the City was briefed after 7pm with a printed tablecloth, two roll-up banners and 400 stickers, and delivered by 8am. Overnight work is subject to that night’s capacity, which is confirmed at quotation; printing for exhibitors sets out what a stand needs.
Send the occasion, the date and the venue, and the quotation comes back with a ready time and a delivery plan. The case studies record the stages and the outcome of each of these jobs.
Send us the brief
Tell us the occasion, the date and the venue, and say the size if it is not A4. We come back with a ready time, and we check the file’s size, bleed and fonts before anything goes on press.
