What exhibition graphics are, and why the drawing matters more than the dimensions
Exhibition graphics are the printed skin of a stand: the infill panels that turn a bare shell scheme into a branded wall, the header board over the fascia, and the graphic panels that clip into a modular frame stand. The single most important fact in this product is that the usable panel area is always smaller than the space you booked — aluminium uprights, cross-beams and skirt rails all take their bite. That is why we ask for the organiser’s stand drawing rather than your dimensions: the drawing carries the visible opening sizes, and panels cut to it drop into the frame instead of buckling against it.
A shell scheme panel cut even a few millimetres too wide will not lie flat — it bows out of the frame under the hall lighting and the whole wall looks wrong. Cut to the drawing, the same panel presses onto the wall in seconds. On a modular frame stand the printed panels clip into the aluminium frame, so the graphics change between shows while the frame carries on; frame stands are quoted from the stand drawing in the same way.
Where the panels go: trade fairs at ExCeL, Olympia and the Business Design Centre; conference sponsor walls in West End and City hotels; and press and photo backdrops where the panel run has to look seamless on camera. Rollable panels or rigid boards — which build to order
Rollable panels are the travelling exhibitor’s build: the print rolls into a compact transit tube, survives the taxi and the train, and hangs flat when unrolled against the shell scheme wall on its pre-applied hook Velcro. Roll them printed side out at breakdown and the same set does several shows. Rigid Foamex panels in 3 or 5 mm are the premium build: dead flat, better looking up close, and stiff enough to carry mounted screens or shelving — but they travel by van, not by hand.
Mounting is tool-free either way. Shell scheme walls supplied by UK venues take hook Velcro, which we apply to the panel backs before dispatch; metal-framed systems take magnetic tape instead. For a wall with no visible uprights at all, a seamless overlay printed on low-tack removable self-adhesive covers poles and panels in one unbroken image and peels off at breakdown without lifting the paint underneath.

Panels are printed on the UV flatbed for rigid boards and on the roll for flexible media, then cut on the Zünd to the drawing — which is what makes the millimetres reliable. One honest boundary: we print, cut and deliver — the stand build itself is yours or your contractor’s.

Velcro has two halves: hook, the hard prickly side, and loop, the soft fuzzy side. Shell scheme walls supplied by UK venues are loop-friendly, so panels leave here with hook tape applied to the back and they press straight onto the stand walls.
Yes. Peel the panels off the walls at breakdown, roll them with the printed side facing outwards to avoid creasing, and store them in a transit tube. Rolled panels survive several shows; the Velcro on the back keeps working as long as it is kept clean.

- Before we accept an urgent job we look at what could go wrong with the file, the stock and the finishing, and plan so that a reprint would still fit inside your deadline.
