Who provides overnight printing and delivery for exhibitions in London?
020 3375 6674 info@silverimagelondon.com Open 24 hours, 7 days a week — call or email and we will tell you what is possible today.
A production printer whose press runs while the venue sleeps. We produce exhibition graphics 24 hours a day in our own London facility: files and payment in by 21:00 are normally ready before 9am, couriered to ExCeL, Olympia, the Business Design Centre, the QEII Centre and hotels across Central London — timed for the build-up, not the queue at the loading bay. Outside normal hours a £95 minimum applies.

Exhibition deadlines are unlike any other print deadline: the hall opens at a fixed hour, the stand is booked, and “tomorrow afternoon” is worthless. Which is why the question arrives the way it does — late in the day, with a venue name attached. This page answers it the way we answer it on the phone: what can be made tonight, and how it reaches the stand before doors open.
What can be produced overnight for a stand?
| Item | Overnight, ready before 9am | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Shell-scheme panels, headers and stand graphics | Yes | Exhibition stand graphics |
| Rigid foam boards, A1 and A0 | Yes — among the most common overnight jobs | Foam board specifications |
| Roller banners (pull-up) | Yes | Roller banner specifications |
| Large-format banners and backdrops | Yes — size and finishing decide | Hemmed and eyeletted banners |
| Fabric pop-up displays | Often — send the size and we confirm the same day | Premium fabric displays |
| Posters, programmes and stand paperwork | Yes | Large format |
Capacity decides, not the clock. The earlier the file arrives, the more certain the morning becomes — and if a specification cannot be finished properly in the hours left, the reply says so at the quote stage, while there is still time to change the plan. How the night shift actually runs is covered in our overnight orders guide.
Can you deliver to ExCeL or Olympia before the show opens?
Yes — delivery direct to the venue is the standard route, which removes a transfer that otherwise happens at the worst possible hour. The regular early runs go to ExCeL (E16), Olympia (W14), the Business Design Centre (N1), the QEII Centre (SW1), Wembley Park (HA9) and The O2 (SE10). Flat and rigid work travels by van so it arrives undamaged; rolled banners go by motorbike where speed matters more. For exhibitors staying in town, delivery to your hotel the night before is often the calmest option of all.
On the record — real overnight exhibition jobs
From the register rather than the brochure: a full exhibition stand ordered late in the day was branded overnight in the City of London — including a printed tablecloth for an AWS booth; six A0 foamex boards ordered at 21:36 were delivered before 1pm the next day; and 4,000 posters were printed in a single day for Star Wars Celebration. Different stands, same pattern: evening file, working night, morning delivery.
What does the artwork need?
| Requirement | What we need |
|---|---|
| Format | Print-ready PDF preferred — but send what you have; every file is checked in-house before production |
| Colour | CMYK, not RGB; Pantone references for brand colours |
| Resolution | Measured at final size on the printed piece — large-format panels read from distance need less than close-viewed print |
| Bleed | 5–10 mm on large format (3 mm is a sheet-fed rule, not a panel rule) |
| Fonts | Outlined or embedded |
On a job this tight, a file problem spotted at 21:00 costs nothing; the same problem at 07:00 costs the deadline. Thirty seconds in our free preflight checker confirms the resolution before you hit send — it runs in your browser, so the artwork never leaves your device. Full set-up rules are in the large-format artwork guide.
How do you start an overnight exhibition job?
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Send the print-ready PDF | By email or upload; put the venue, the delivery window and the deadline in the first line |
| 2. Firm quote back | Price and a realistic ready-time, before anything is printed |
| 3. Approve and pay | For a before-9am finish, files and payment by 21:00 — then the job goes straight onto the night press |
| 4. Venue delivery | Courier timed for the build-up — or to your hotel the night before |
Do you install the stand graphics?
We print and deliver — installation is carried out by your team or the venue’s contractors. What we supply is everything they need to start the moment the hall opens: finished, ready-to-install panels, headers, boards and banners, delivered to the venue timed for the build-up (or to your hotel the night before). On a build-up morning that division of labour is exactly what installers want: graphics waiting at the stand, not stuck in production.
What about confidential launches?
Product launches and unannounced stands are handled the same way as our legal work: an NDA is signed before the file is opened if you ask for one, and delivery goes by named courier. The full protocol is on the confidential document printing page, and the practical questions are answered in our confidential same-day guide.
The short version
Send the PDF now with the venue and the hour the stand must be ready. The reply tells you the price and the realistic ready-time — and if tonight is not enough for the specification, you will hear that too, in time to change the plan rather than miss the opening. The press is already running.
Stand opens tomorrow?
Attach the PDF, say the venue, the sizes and the deadline. A firm quote and a realistic ready-time come back before anything goes to press.
Open 24 hours, 7 days a week. Delivered to the venue before the show opens.
