Questions we get from City of London

How late can I send a file and still have it in the City by 9am?

Files and approval by 21:00 is the realistic window for a nine o’clock delivery anywhere in EC. Later than that is often still possible, because the workshop is staffed through the night, but it depends on the run size and what else is on the machines. Call at any hour and you will get a straight yes or no on the deadline rather than a maybe.

Do you handle confidential legal and board material?

Yes, and it is most of what we send into the City. Files stay on our own systems, the job is produced in-house from print through to binding, and delivery is by named courier to reception rather than left in a post room. Nothing is subcontracted out.

Can you print and bind a 5,000 page bundle in three sets?

Yes — five-figure page counts cross this floor most weeks. Page count, sidedness, number of tabs and the deadline are the four answers that turn it into a firm quote within minutes.

Which postcode should I be looking at?

It rarely matters for the deadline — the whole square mile is one courier run for us. It matters for the collection option: if you would rather send someone to pick the job up than wait for a delivery, say so when you order and we will hold it at the counter.
