What a printed tablecloth does, and where it earns its keep
A printed tablecloth turns a bare trestle table into the front counter of your stand — the surface visitors walk up to, lean on and photograph. It is the cheapest square meterage of branding on an exhibition floor, it packs into a carrier bag, and unlike a printed board it survives the journey home to be used again at the next show.
We print tablecloths in-house on our latex printers, full colour and edge to edge. Latex ink bonds into the polyester fibre rather than sitting on the surface, so the print does not crack along fold lines and does not wash out — the cloth is made to be folded, washed and re-used across a season. Because the whole cloth goes through the printer either way, a single logo on a plain colour and a full photographic design cost the same to run.
Where they go: exhibition stands at ExCeL, Olympia and the Business Design Centre; registration and press desks at AGMs and conferences; retail pop-ups and product launches, where a branded table is the whole shopfront; and recruitment and university fairs, where the same cloth does a dozen events a year. One boundary worth knowing before you order: this is an indoor and sheltered product — for anything living outside, a PVC banner or a feather flag is the right tool.

Fabric, print and finishing
The base fabric is a display polyester around 210 gsm — heavy enough to drape properly rather than float, light enough that a 350 × 160 cm cloth still folds into a carrier bag. A heavier, anti-crease weight is available when the cloth will live in a suitcase between events; say so when you order. Edges are supplied cleanly finished, so the cloth survives repeated washing without fraying.
Print is latex, full colour, edge to edge. The ink is water-based and cures into the fibre, which is what makes the cloth washable: 30 degrees, mild detergent, no bleach, no tumble dryer, iron on the reverse side on a cool synthetic setting. Deep blacks print best specified as a rich black (C60 M40 Y40 K100) rather than K-only, and brand colours are matched from Pantone references where you have them.
Choosing between the five sizes comes down to two measurements: the table top and the drop you want. A short drop of 20–30 cm reads as a topper; 40–50 cm reads as fitted; ends to the floor reads as a proper exhibition counter. If your table is staffed, one practical trick: slide the cloth forward so the front reaches the floor and the back stays short — the audience sees a full drape, and whoever sits behind the desk keeps their legroom.
Turnaround and delivery
Tablecloths run as a same-day or next-day product: the fabric is printed and finished in-house, so artwork approved in the morning is normally ready the same day, subject to capacity and the size of the run — and because the workshop is staffed through the night, files and approval by 21:00 are printed overnight for a morning delivery. There is no fixed cut-off: capacity decides, so call at any hour and you will get a straight yes or no on your deadline.
Courier delivery runs across Central London — the City, West End, Canary Wharf and Southwark are daily routes — typically within 1 hour of dispatch, and exhibition deliveries go direct to ExCeL, Olympia or the Business Design Centre against a hall and stand number. Collection from the counter is available around the clock, which is how exhibitors on an 8am build slot pick up a cloth printed overnight.
Cloths are checked, folded and bagged before they leave. Light transit creases drop out on their own within half an hour of the cloth being draped over the table; the heavier anti-crease fabric barely creases at all.

Q&A
What size tablecloth fits a standard 6ft trestle table?
A 6ft trestle top measures about 183 by 76 cm and stands 72 cm tall. Our 350 x 160 cm cloth reaches the floor at both ends with around 42 cm of drop on the long sides; the 260 x 150 cm cloth gives an even mid drop all round instead. Measure the top and the height, and the right size falls out of the arithmetic.
Can you print tablecloths the same day?
Usually, yes. The fabric is printed and finished in-house, so artwork approved in the morning is normally ready the same day, subject to capacity and the size of the run. Will the print crack or wash out of the fabric?

Can you print a full photographic design, not just a logo?
Yes, and it costs the same to run. The cloth is printed full colour edge to edge, so a single logo on plain colour and a full photographic design take the same pass through the printer. If you have strong imagery, use it.
Do your tablecloths meet venue fire regulations?
We print on display polyesters stocked for exactly this exhibition work. If your venue's safety audit asks for fire certification, say so when you order and we supply the manufacturer's datasheet for the fabric your cloth is printed on, so you have the paperwork before the show.
