From a press that runs at night. We print roller banners in our own London facility 24 hours a day — 85 × 200 cm as standard, with cassette, pole and carry bag included. Files and payment in by 21:00 are normally ready before 9am, and files that arrive earlier in the day are regularly finished the same afternoon; a £95 minimum applies to work produced outside normal hours.

A roller banner is the one display item people order last and need standing first — usually the evening before a show, a pitch or a reception. Because the printing, trimming and cassette assembly all happen here, “tomorrow morning” is an ordinary answer rather than an optimistic one.
Typical turnaround
| Type | Same day | Overnight, ready before 9am | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard cassette banner, 85 × 200 cm | Yes | Yes | The most common size — stand, pole and carry bag included |
| Wide or double-sided | Subject to capacity | Yes | Confirm the size when you send the file |
| Replacement graphic only | Yes | Yes | If you already have the stand |
| Fabric pop-up display | Subject to capacity | Yes | Premium finish — see fabric pop-up displays |
Artwork decides more than the clock: a roller banner whose “print-ready” file turned out to be a mock-up was rebuilt, printed and still delivered a day early. Every banner file is checked here before it goes on the roll.
What the clock really allows
| File arrived | Delivered | What it was |
|---|---|---|
| 13:09, a Sunday | Same afternoon | Forty folded menus for a Super Bowl event |
| Six in the evening | By half nine the next morning | Custom-size posters |
| 21:36 | Before 1pm the next day | Six A0 foamex boards |
Different products, one pattern: the earlier the file lands, the wider the choice of delivery slot. Nothing here is a promise for your job — capacity on the night decides — but it is what the press actually did on those dates.
Where do they get delivered?
Delivery goes to offices, hotels and venues across London, with the regular early runs into ExCeL, Olympia, the Business Design Centre and the QEII Centre — timed for the build-up rather than the queue at the loading bay. For exhibitors staying in town, delivery to the hotel the night before is often the calmest option.
What comes with the banner?
Every standard order includes the printed graphic, the cassette base, the telescopic pole and a padded carry bag — ready to stand up straight out of the box, no tools. Replacement graphics for a cassette you already own are cheaper and just as quick; say the make and width when you send the file. Full specifications are on the roller banner page, and if you are weighing vinyl against fabric, that comparison has its own guide.

| Colour | CMYK, not RGB |
| Resolution | 150 dpi at full size minimum |
| Bleed | 3 mm all round |
| Safe area | Keep critical text and logos clear of the bottom of the design — that stretch sits inside the cassette |
| Fonts | Outlined or fully embedded |
Send the file to info@silverimagelondon.com with the size, the deadline and the delivery address — or use WeTransfer for anything large. A problem spotted at 21:00 costs nothing; the same problem at 07:00 costs the deadline, so thirty seconds in our free preflight checker is worth it — it reads the file in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
