Ordering a pop-up banner is mostly a naming problem: three words for one product, and a worry about picking the wrong one. You cannot — they all arrive as the same cassette stand. The decisions that matter are material, size and when it has to be standing.
Options and turnaround
| Type | Same day | Overnight, ready before 9am | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard cassette banner, 85 × 200 cm | Yes | Yes | Stand, pole and bag included |
| Wide format | Subject to capacity | Yes | Confirm the width with the file |
| Double-sided | Subject to capacity | Yes | Two files, clearly named |
| Fabric pop-up display | Subject to capacity | Yes | Premium finish — fabric displays |
| Replacement graphic only | Yes | Yes | If you already own the stand |
Which material to pick, and why regular exhibitors drift from vinyl to fabric, is laid out in the roll-up versus pull-up guide. Product specifications live on the pull-up stands with carry bag page.
Why does everyone say “pop-up”?
Because two different products borrowed the same word. In the UK trade, pop-up usually means the cassette banner that pulls up out of a base — the same thing others call a roll-up or pull-up. But pop-up display also describes the concertina frame that pops open into a wide backdrop, usually dressed in fabric. When someone asks us for “a pop-up” on the phone, the first question is simply which of the two they are picturing: a single banner beside a desk, or a wall behind a stand. If it is the wall, pop-up stand printing is the page to read next.
Where do they get delivered?
Delivery runs to offices, hotels, event spaces and venues across London — ExCeL and Olympia are among the most regular, timed for the build-up. Express runs into EC1–EC4, W1, WC1–WC2, E14 and SW1 take about an hour from dispatch.
The one design rule
Keep critical text and logos away from the bottom of the artwork — that stretch rolls into the cassette and is either hidden or creased in use. Beyond that: one clear headline, text sized to be read from two metres, and strong contrast. Full artwork rules are in the large-format artwork guide, and this rescued mock-up shows what our file check catches before the roll starts.

Send the file to info@silverimagelondon.com with the size, the deadline and the delivery address — or use WeTransfer for anything large. A problem spotted at 21:00 costs nothing; the same problem at 07:00 costs the deadline, so thirty seconds in our free preflight checker is worth it — it reads the file in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
