Printing for retail brands and pop-up shops in London

A pop-up shop needs print on two clocks: window film, A-boards and strut cards are produced the same day, while a made-to-order shop sign starts with a survey of the real fascia, wall, power and access and ends with a firm price and date confirmed at the quote. Window film is supplied cut, weeded and taped for your shopfitter, or surveyed and fitted by our installers and scheduled with the quote. Same-day work is subject to capacity, confirmed at quotation.

A retail brand opening a pop-up works backwards from the day the doors open, and the first question is which pieces can wait for a survey and which cannot. The window, the pavement board and the counter cards can be produced the same day; the sign over the door is built to the fascia and takes a survey. Printing for a retail launch in London is planned in that order. This page maps each piece to the page that carries its detail. Our London print shop works through the night, so the evening before opening is a working evening.

Which shop items are same-day and which need a survey?

Window film, A-boards and strut cards are same-day work; shop signs are made to order after a survey. The table maps each to its page.

What does a shop sign need before it is priced?

A survey: the real fascia size, the wall, the power and the access. Work starts with the survey and ends with a firm price and a firm date confirmed at the quote, with fitting arranged with the job. That is why a shop sign is the item to settle first in a pop-up plan, while the window film and the boards can follow. The shop signs page carries the specification.

Can window vinyl be produced the same day?

Printed and cut film is produced the same day, subject to capacity; fitting is scheduled separately and confirmed with the quote. For a shopfitter the film arrives cut, weeded and application-taped; where our installers fit it, a survey and a fitting slot are scheduled with the quote. Full-colour work on glass uses white or opaque film rather than clear film, and the vinyl artwork is supplied at 150 dpi at the finished size, with vector artwork for cut lettering. Nearby pages cover the other parts of a launch: printing for launch events and press calls and printing for events and conferences.

Q&A

What can be printed the same day for a pop-up shop in London?

Window film, A-boards and strut cards are same-day work, subject to capacity confirmed at quotation. Shop signs are different: they are made to order after a survey of the fascia, wall, power and access, and the date is confirmed at the quote.

Do you fit window vinyl?

Window film is supplied cut, weeded and taped for your shopfitter, or surveyed and fitted by our installers; fitting is scheduled with the quote. Same-day production covers the printing and cutting, while fitting is scheduled separately.

What is the difference between contra-vision and frosted film?

Frosted film is cut, not printed, and gives privacy; contra-vision prints at full strength for shopfronts. For full-colour work on glass we use white or opaque film. The window vinyl page has the detail.

Can A-boards be supplied with just the inserts?

Yes. A-boards come as complete kits, or as waterproof poster inserts for the frame you already own; the inserts are synthetic, so they stay flat and legible in the rain until you change the message.

Send the address, the opening date and the items you have in mind, and the quotation comes back with a ready time, and a survey slot where a sign needs one. The product pages above carry each item in detail, and the case studies record the stages and the outcome of each job.
