DPI, Print Size & Artwork Resolution Checker
Check whether your JPG, PNG, WebP or TIFF file has enough resolution for professional printing — from A6 flyers up to A0 posters. Your artwork never leaves your device — files are analysed locally in your browser and are never uploaded, so confidential artwork stays exactly where it is.
Pixel sizes needed for each paper size
Minimum pixels for 300 DPI (sharp in-hand print) and 150 DPI (large-format viewed from a distance), portrait orientation:

DPI (dots per inch) is simply pixels divided by physical print size. 300 DPI is the standard for material read at arm’s length; banners and posters viewed from a few metres stay sharp at 150 DPI or below. Acceptable resolution always depends on viewing distance, artwork type and the quality of the source image.
