Real numbers from our own price list, not a “call us” wall: A6 flyers from £50 per hundred, postcards from £65 per fifty, letterheads from £100 per 250. All prices exclude VAT, assume a print-ready PDF, and a quote once given is firm and holds for 7 days. What moves the number is quantity, size, one side or two — and the deadline less than people expect.

Printing prices frustrate people because so few printers publish any. The honest reason is that a price is really a specification — but that is an argument for showing the starting points and saying what changes them, not for hiding everything behind a form. So: starting points first.

Unit economics behave the way you would hope: the second hundred is always cheaper than the first, because setting up the job is a fixed cost and running more sheets is not. Document and copy work is quoted on the actual job — page count, colour or mono, binding — rather than from this table; details on document printing and flyer printing.
What makes the price go up — and down?
Up: a second printed side, heavier stock, larger sheet, finishing (folding, binding, lamination). Down: quantity, flexibility on stock, and — genuinely — a clean file: our quotes assume a print-ready PDF, so a file that needs rebuilding is the hidden cost people meet most often. Does urgent cost more?
Less than the folklore says. Production runs 24/7, so same day and overnight are standard products, not surcharged favours. Two genuine extras exist: delivery, quoted per job and usually in the region of £35–45 within London depending on postcode and courier availability — and a £95 minimum on orders placed outside counter hours, when every job travels by courier.
Why is the quote “firm”, and what does that mean?
It means the number you get is the number you pay: the quote is built on your actual specification, holds for 7 days, and does not grow ornaments at invoice time. If the specification changes, the price is re-quoted openly — that is the whole system. Send the file, the quantity and the deadline, and the number comes back before anything is printed.
